The Story
As is typical for this perfectionist watch brand, Greubel Forsey’s first timepiece without their signature double tourbillon also took years of research to realize. The Double Balancier averages the rate of two inclined balance wheels through a differential. Both the averaging as well as the inclines decrease rate errors through the changing positions of the wristwatch. Perhaps better still the architecture of the movement allows for ample admiration of the company’s famous finishing. The rose gold and black version is one of the most handsome timepieces the brand has ever produced.The 35° inclination of the balances allows for larger diameter balance wheels (better inertia/more stable timekeeping)
